Panteón Fest 2024
We’re excited to invite you to Panteón Fest 2024! On October 12th, join us in Downtown Oxnard for a day dedicated to celebrating Día de los Muertos. This special event, hosted by Pipiripau, is all about honoring our loved ones who have passed while embracing the vibrant traditions that make this holiday so meaningful.
At Panteón Fest, you’ll be treated to a desfilada/parade, performances from Aztec dancers, lively music, and traditional Mexican dances that capture the spirit of Día de los Muertos throughout the celebration. Altares will be set up to honor the departed, adding a personal touch to the festivities. We’re also featuring a theatrical play that brings to life the stories and legends behind this beautiful tradition.
For those who love to dress up, our Catrina and Catrín contest is back—this time with even more creativity! You can show off your best charro, famous actor, or Mexican legend look for a chance to win.
And to close out the day with a bang, we’re excited to announce that Los Cool Arrows will be taking the stage, bringing their high-energy performance to wrap up the celebration.
