Palomazo Mexican Lager

Palomazo Mexican Lager

For about a year, my brother and I had been talking about extending Pipiripau into different formats, experiences you could feel, hear, remember, and even taste. Collaborations made sense, but we didn't want to force it. In our experience, the best ones happen when the connections are already in place.

Turns out, they were.

We met David and Heber a few years back, they are the founders of The OneOhOne, a monthly creative hang series in the 805 and beyond. If you’re an artist in any capacity and haven’t been, you’ve got to check it out at least once. It’s not your typical networking thing, it’s creatives just chatting it up, sharing ideas, and building community over a brew. Speaking of brew, The BrewLAB has been supporting those gatherings as a beer sponsor, keeping the drinks flowing while the conversations do their thing.

One night, we headed to one of those monthly hangs with our homie Memo Gomez, entrepreneur and co-owner of Orgullo Wine in Santa Barbara. That night, naturally brought together people already moving in similar circles. Conversations carried over into other events and gatherings, and over time that overlap led to a real introduction between Pipiripau and The BrewLAB, thanks to Memo Gomez and The OneOhOne.

That connection brought the Palomazo Mexican Lager.

From there, the idea was simple: to pair a light, crisp lager with a clean, easy-drinking finish, built for music, built for our community, during warm weather at our Palomazos.

The limited edition 16 oz can features a contemporary ranchero immersed in music, tilted hat, sharp mustache, beer in one hand, boombox in the other, capturing the fusion of music and culture. Rendered in bold teal, orange, and cream against a warm golden background.

The first public release is April 25, 1–5 PM at The BrewLAB in Carpinteria, with live music from InStone and the first official pour of Palomazo Mexican Lager.

After the launch, Palomazo Mexican Lager will be pouring at select Palomazo Series dates (May 1, 15, and 29) as well as at the Palomazo Music Festival on June 13 at Pipiripau at the Heritage Square in Oxnard.

Join us at any or all these events. Grab a beer, some merch, and be part of it from the beginning. Tickets, merch, and bundles are available at Pueblo & Co.
